Senior backend and systems engineer with 8 years of experience, drawn to database development and fintech. Has a thing for impossible causes and genuinely enjoys the "the critical system is on fire and the team is gone" scenario. Experience ranges from .NET (F# and C#) to Clojure/Datomic on financial systems, where they integrated with a dozen APIs including Xero, NetSuite, Sage, Intuit QuickBooks, Plaid, and Teller; on the side does OCaml and C++ on open source.
