Backend API Developer and Instructor

Hi, I'm JC. I've been in working with a variety of startups in the Austin tech scene for 14+ years. Mainly dealing with backend API development, but also everything else required to develop and host modern web applications. I was the founding engineer for Ruckit. I grew the engineering team from just me, to a team of 10+ people, and was able to deliver a product that was responsible for the successful exit of the company. I've been doing the same thing for PreFix Inc. Growing the team and developing the product. I've also been a Python instructor for General Assembly. And a long time ago I was doing a lot more hardware hacking. I'm looking for a new challenge.
