Junior Backend Developer

Michal Svec is a motivated final year CS student based in Slovakia, ready for full-time employment in July 2026. He is seeking junior/graduate-level backend roles where he can learn and grow. His experience includes 4 internships and multiple side projects, having started programming at age 15. He has explored mobile app development (native and Flutter), web development (React, Next.js, Vue), QA, MLOps, and AI/ML, but has chosen to focus his career on backend development. His primary coding experience is in Java and Python, with a strong enjoyment for Kotlin, and he is currently learning Go (Golang) by building a simple VPN. He prefers working with strongly typed languages and is eager to learn Rust or C++.
