CTO & Full-stack Systems Engineer

Simon Hartcher is a solo consultant and former startup CTO, known for co-founding and maintaining Scoop (23k+ stars). He is a true full-stack developer proficient across the entire stack. His recent work includes the Scoop Windows CLI installer, a TrueNAS Terraform provider and Go client, Pixels for AI coding agents, a cryptographic protocol in Zig, Godot bindings for Zig, and compile_flagz for Zig builds. He also develops games and organizes game-dev events. Simon is seeking short or long-term contracts or full-time remote positions, with a strong interest in infrastructure tooling, dev tools, systems programming, and Zig-adjacent projects.
