Senior Product Design Engineer

For over 12 years, Mrkdbrn has been designing and building for the web, working almost exclusively within small product teams. They craft user interfaces from conception to deployment, with a solid understanding of the backend, allowing for a full-system view to shape features with foresight beyond the UI. Design decisions are grounded in Jobs-to-be-Done thinking and product metrics, ensuring every feature solves a meaningful problem. They bridge design, code, and product to experiment, measure outcomes, and optimize for both user experience and business goals. Ideally looking for a design engineering role to build software alongside developers in production, rather than just making mockups. They are a big fan of small teams and progress over perfection. Open to full-time employment or contract as a freelancer. Remote work is preferred, but open to hybrid in Randstad if the office is dog-friendly.
