Machine Learning Research Scientist

Experimental physicist working on the interface between machine learning, data analysis, and theory. Member of the ATLAS collaboration at CERN, recently my research focuses on novel ML architectures with emphasis on geometry/equivariance/representation. Trained as a scientist, but born an engineer. Looking for fast paced R&D, building things that ship. My interests are very broad and I love working on hard problems. Experience ranges from writing hard-realtime kernel modules for controlling heavy equipment to architecting scalable cloud infra in AWS, and from hardware hacking to full-stack web dev. Bread and butter is data mining/analysis, and machine learning R&D.
