Staff Software Engineer with 12+ YOE

Staff software engineer with 12+ YOE. Started in PHP, Python, and JS. Moved to Rails & Elixir for the past decade. I love designing software, resolving long-term technical debt, and learning new languages (both computer and human languages, I've previously used English, Japanese, and Korean professionally). Always happy to learn if necessary. Hoping to continue to grow into more leadership positions, but I'm amenable to any role so long as it contains a mix of learning and mentorship. I've generally been moved between teams to help teach junior engineers, and solve any sticky problems that others have struggled with. I'm also comfortable wearing many hats including Product Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering Management, Customer Success, QA, Sales, and more.
