IT Security Consultant

Hi, I'm Max. I've been working in IT security consulting for about two years since graduating with a masters in Computer Science specialized in IT-Security. I've been doing a mixture of penetration testing with a focus on infrastructure, consulting clients on anything security and running a bunch of hypervisor clusters along with their network infrastructure.

I'm very good at hunting down any problems within the layers 2 - 6, both offensively and to keep systems stable. Understanding whatever I do all the way down to the RFC and thinking of every possible thing that could go wrong or be abused are core security principles for me. Boring, standardized and automated is the way any system should be run.

I run my own hypervisor at home for fun and spent many years developing Open Source Minecraft Plugins and writing my own Minecraft client from scratch. I like to spend my free time tinkering with technology and learning something new.

Specifically looking for a 100% remote job, though occasional travel is okay.
