Senior 3D Computer Vision Engineer & Product Owner

Ilia Shipachev is a Computer Vision engineer and former Product Owner with over 5 years of experience in 3D reconstruction, SfM pipelines, multi-camera calibration, and LiDAR processing. He has built calibration pipelines for panoramic camera systems and delivered large-scale photogrammetry projects for VFX clients like Netflix and Apple TV. He has owned products across calibration, image processing, and LiDAR pipelines end-to-end. Currently independent, he is focused on novel 3D reconstruction methods and Gaussian Splatting, and is open to co-founding/product-engineer roles, consulting on hard Computer Vision problems, or short-form project-based cooperation. He is also exploring Julia and Geometric Algebra for computer vision.
