My main area of focus is in application security, with about ten years in that and most of a lifetime in software in general. I also tinker a lot with Torch and am working on neural-network based cryptography attacks right now. I am a US citizen and have a permanent visa to work and live in NL.
Although I recently left academia, where I was a physics+ML researcher at Yale, I'm also a seasoned engineer. Now building a small startup, but ready for new/bigger problems to solve. I like solving hard problems with creative approaches, whether that means conducting cutting edge research or finding a way to use what's already out there.
