Description

A highly experienced DevOps/SRE/Platform engineer with 10 years of experience, including work with private equity firms in HFT and prop trading environments. Proficient in scripting with bash, python, and groovy, and currently learning Golang. Has extensive experience with bare metal, data centre creation, hybrid cloud, and major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and Alibaba. Prefers Ansible for IaC but is also skilled with Puppet, SaltStack, and Terraform. Database experience includes InfluxDB, KDB+, and strong proficiency in Postgres. Expert in Splunk for querying and monitoring, and familiar with Elastic. Experienced with monitoring tools such as check_mk, Zabbix, and Datadog, specifically for HFT applications and specialized hardware like custom NICs/FPGAs. Also skilled in JIRA and Confluence with heavy plugin usage. Open to full remote, hybrid, or in-office roles, and willing to relocate within reasonable travel distance due to family commitments.
