Beginner in C++ seeking learning opportunities

I want to redirect the course of my professional life/ education towards tech. I have been studying civil engineering, which I have come to realization doesn't align with what I want to do. Only recently I quit out. I am now 25 years old and with my current life situation I want to get my boots on the ground to get ahold of something. That's why I am not looking to go directly to university again. I have always been attracted towards more abstract and mathematical ideas. That's why I had plenty fun teaching myself the various 'structural analysis' courses. I have worked at a structural consulting office for two years as well. I am interested in BIM 'building information modelling' and 3D in general, but open for other directions as well.
