Full Stack Developer

Once upon a time I was a military officer, then I became an academic philosopher, and now I'm a full stack dev living in the French Alps. I'm looking for remote freelance/contract/consulting positions in the ruby & JS ecosystems either fully async or with with a working day cross over to CET (+2). I specialise in turning vague ideas into robust software. I am really good at asking questions that get to the heart of difficult problems, translating this into actionable requirements, then delivering well documented and tested code. I have extensive leadership and mentoring experience. I am happy to help bring junior devs up to speed but I’m equally happy playing a supporting role as part of a team.
