Aspiring Developer with Diverse Skills

Hey HN! I decided to switch career paths recently and am now looking for a first job! As I originally learned programming for fun, I don’t have a lot of public validation of my abilities, so now I’m catching up by making contributions to open source projects and learning languages that are more in-demand so that I am fit for a wider variety of jobs.
