Aspiring Complex Systems Apprentice

Looking to be an apprentice to someone building complex systems (distributed systems, compilers, databases etc). Can be a free apprentice for 6 months. The individual is not experienced in any of these complex systems but is willing to learn. They are tired of building mobile apps.
