Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience, including 4+ years developing production automotive GPS navigation software at Mireo d.d. Background in applied R&D for GPS and geospatial systems, with hands-on experience in routing algorithms, map data processing, real-world navigation constraints, and performance-critical systems. Primarily works in C++ and Python and has a strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and competitive programming. Focuses on applied research, system analysis, performance optimization, and building research or prototype software that can evolve into reliable production solutions. Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and translating research or business requirements into practical, high-impact implementations. Especially interested in research-driven teams, startups, or companies modernizing or optimizing existing systems. Based in Croatia and available for remote work, open to occasional on-site work in EU/US.
