Curious about job postings

I'm not looking but I am curious and maybe someone here can tell me the conversion rate of topics like this? Some of the job postings here are amazing on paper, but they never actually seem to materialize into a response. Not to brag, but I'm usually very over qualified and apply because I like the idea of a startup environment and I'm financially secure. Wondering how the other side feels.
