ML Research Engineer

I've been a PhD student in Machine Learning for the past 5 years, but due to some personal circumstances, I am leaving the program and I am looking for alternative opportunities. Ideally I'd like to make the most of my ML experience, so would prefer an Applied Scientist/ML Research/Engineer/Research Engineer role/Scientific scientist, but am open to other software dev roles. I have a BSc and MSc in Computer Science, and 5 years part time work experience in research engineer software development, working on classification and object detection. I am experienced in scoping, data collection and modeling within the ML project development framework. I have experience in real and synthetic image dataset creation.
