MLE and Applied Scientist with Computer Vision

David Hoffmann is an aspiring MLE and Applied Scientist with an M.Sc. from LMU and experience from the University of Oxford and AWS. He specializes in Computer Vision, Robotics, Inference Optimization, AutoML, and Forecasting. At AWS, he developed a novel inference optimization technique yielding 13.4% higher accuracy and improved SageMaker's Autopilot forecasting solution, resulting in a 3.5% error reduction and 16% decreased latency in production. He is currently investigating robotics planning with diffusion models at Oxford and is seeking full-time applied machine learning roles to transition his research into production-level systems.
