Senior Engineer and Technology Leader

Currently SVP of Engineering in international agency with 6000+ employees, reporting to the group CTO. Responsible for overall technology coordination and quality assurance. Background in software engineering and math. Total of 25 years of experience of which 7 is with leadership and management. I have a holistic (and somewhat unorthodox) view on software creation taking into account PC, LD, IT, InfoSec, sales, delivery and more. I excel at communication, people management, business and organisation understanding. I create environments in which other people are successful. I mentor them, help set direction, follow up and develop others into leadership positions. I am a pragmatic generalist who can see, and cut through, the bullshit. Direct, honest, reliable and expect the same of others. Looking for an opportunity to turn around a less optimal technology organisation or build one from scratch. Open to either full time or contracting.
