Senior Backend/Platform Engineer

Josue is a backend/platform engineer and developer advocate with over 10 years of experience building systems at scale across startups and growth-stage companies like Uber and DoorDash. At Uber, he worked as a Developer Advocate for Cadence, supporting adoption, scaling distributed systems, and troubleshooting production issues, including integration with AI/ML teams for fault-tolerant pipelines and fine-tuning LLMs. At DoorDash, he contributed to the migration from Django to Kotlin microservices and designed a modular refund rules engine. He also has experience building NLP pipelines at Jobscan and training models for ad performance prediction.
