Highly experienced Principal Software Engineer with deep expertise in C/C++, C#, Win32, Linux, POSIX, and SQL. Proven track record in database development (SQLite, Comdb2) and scripting languages (Tcl/Tk), including maintaining Tcl/Tk and being a former member of the SQLite Development Team. Strong interests include automation, cryptography, databases, developer tools & SDKs, distributed systems, internet security, public key infrastructure, runtimes, sandboxing, scripting languages, testing, virtual machines, and LLM integration. Available for full-time contract work, remote or hybrid, based in Manhattan, NYC. Not willing to relocate.
