Strategy and Operations Manager

Anyone working at Google Cloud, who would be so kind to recommend me for a role? They are searching for a 'Strategy and operations manager III' - a friend actually told me about that role because it fits my profile (I work in finance), but despite a recommendation from another friend I got rejected without anyone even talking with me. So I was thinking to try again, although not sure if it is a good idea or not.
