Author of a performance cheatsheet and writing a book on HPC. US citizen, native English speaker. Experience at Orbitz on core tech including JVM, GC, performance regression follow-up, ops, logs, instrumentation, caches, sessions, threads, and database connections. Conducted research & due diligence for the US State Dept on public defenses against foreign adversarial propaganda & disinformation (national security). Creator of game engines & toolmaker since childhood. Once built a small software business. Recently completed client work on system programming R&D focusing on memory allocation latency and SEGV resilience using C on Linux, delivering code, benchmarks, diagrams, and a report on upgrading performance and availability for a soft-real-time, $-impacting backend.
