Systems & ML Infrastructure Intern

Akshit Gaur is a CS undergrad at JNU (2027) with a strong focus on the intersection of Systems Programming and ML Infrastructure. They prefer working at the lower levels of the stack, prioritizing memory efficiency and reproducibility. Their recent work includes contributions to the Rust Compiler (rustc), implementing foundational mathematical operators for the Burn deep learning library in pure Rust, publishing technical analysis of xv6-RISCV internals, and using Guix/Nix for declarative systems. Akshit is comfortable navigating large, high-stakes codebases and operating independently.
