Staff Software Engineer

Staff software engineer with 10+ YOE. Started in PHP, moved to Rails for the past decade. I love designing software, resolving long-term technical debt, and learning new languages (both computer and human languages, I've previously used English, Japanese, and Korean professionally). Always happy to pick up new stuff if necessary if my experience looks like a good fit. Hoping to continue to grow into more leadership positions, but I'm amenable to anything so long as it drives successful business outcomes. I've generally been moved between teams to help mentor junior engineers, and solve any sticky problems that others have struggled with. I'm also comfortable wearing many hats including Product management, Product management, Architecture, and the list goes on. Look forward to hearing from you soon!
