Data Scientist and Research Scientist

Hi, I'm currently working in academia as an Assistant Professor of Quantitative Methods at the Social Sciences Department and I'm working on transitioning to the industry. I obtained my PhD in 2019 and have been working on computational and quantitative methods since then. My latest project is the R package transforEmotion, which is used for sentiment analysis and emotion detection in text, images, and videos: https://github.com/atomashevic/transforEmotion. I have experience with data science/ML projects in academia, as well as consulting for NGOs and companies. I'm open to remote work possibilities as a full-time data scientist or research scientist.
