Clojure Developer for CAD Tools

I would love to work on 'meta-creativity' tools. That is, I enjoy the idea of making 'bespoke CAD tools' to help people who build things do it effectively with their computers as a primary tool for design. I studied mechanical engineering and worked as a designer in the greenhouse/agriculture industry for a few years. I taught myself Clojure, with the goal of understanding enough to write CAD automation scripts and tools. I found full-time Clojure work and have done that for 3 years now, and am looking to find work that aligns more closely with what I really want to be working on: creating tools that help people make real-world things, with a focus on CAD and design automation tools.
