Machine Learning and Controls Researcher

I am finishing my PhD (electrical engineering) in reinforcement- and transfer- learning. My research combines classical control theory with advances in artificial intelligence. I apply my work to Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and smart buildings. Specifically, how to re-use existing machine-learned knowledge on a related task to solve it fast. Previously I've interned in research roles at big companies (AWS), start-ups (TieSet), and in academia. Looking for research/engineering roles in industry in, or adjacent to, machine learning and controls.
