Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

Jonathan is a PhD physicist who transitioned into infrastructure, specializing in Linux systems, DevOps, and automation. He currently manages infrastructure for an open-source blockchain project, overseeing a 40+ node Linux fleet, including provisioning, virtualization, DNS, monitoring, deployments, and user-facing services. He also runs an IT/hosting consultancy, managing the full stack from bare metal. His prior experience includes postdoctoral biophysics and ML research (GROMACS, SLURM, ML-assisted free-energy prediction) and contract cloud engineering. He is seeking platform, infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, or computational research roles, preferring small, collaborative teams where he can wear many hats.
