Software Developer with half a decade of experience

I am a quite cerebral person, focusing on laying out a theoretical foundation prior to an implementation. I have a fairly solid background in abstract thinking and planning with respect to algorithmic design, mathematics, (manual) control flow analysis and verification, performance improvement, among other accompanying skills. I am comfortable working on and reviewing codebases involving C, C++, Rust, assembly, and other related technology. While aiming for efficiency and performance, I strive to ensure correctness through careful constructive criticism during reviews, alongside thorough testing and software fuzzing. I am familiar with platform-agnostic software development, and a part of my ability to use the programming languages that I understand well is that I know how to interoperate between them well, such as C/C++/Rust. Additionally, I can usually tell when something is incorrect, platform-dependent, or has a related issue. I can oftentimes analyze new code that I am unfamiliar with, and proceed to swiftly enough spot errors in proposed code additions - this currently remains a primary part of my contributions on my GitHub account at https://github.com/Phosra. Besides what I already know well, I am always keenly interested in learning more and further honing my skill set. I personally prefer frequent, close collaboration with others, especially for brainstorming ideas about how to progress and proceed with developing new work, yet am open to other dynamics too.
