Data Science Team Lead

I'm a hands-on data science team lead who is specialized in pattern recognition in tabular data. My first ML model went into production in 2005. In my current position at a Munich-based startup, I have built the entire data infrastructure from scratch and scaled up the data team to 4 FTEs. Here's what I bring to the table: - Diverse experience across industries such as retail banking, telco, e-commerce, loyalty or social networks - I cover the entire data value chain, incl. data acquisition (web crawling), data warehousing / engineering / analytics, machine learning model development, and productization of data science solutions through the creation of cloud-based microservices. Beyond my technical skills I can take up the role of data-product owner, and I provide coaching including pair-programming in Python, SQL, and ML methodologies
