AI Design Engineer

Travis Sawyer is a design engineer specializing in shipping AI products end-to-end, bridging UX and ML/LLM-infra. He handles prompt architecture, schema design, authentication, React development, launch copy, and post-mortems. For the past year, Travis has solo-built ReGild, an AI persona platform in production, featuring a 27-layer prompt architecture, zero-knowledge-at-rest security (AES-GCM, BYOK vault), an 8-model persona safety audit, agentic memory with pgvector and Voyage 3 embeddings, and emotion-aware voice synthesis via ElevenLabs. He also developed a 7-agent autonomous marketing pipeline. With 15 years of experience as a cinematographer, Travis brings a unique 'composed' product sense to his AI engineering work. He is particularly interested in prompt architecture, agentic systems, memory/RAG design, and 0→1 product surfaces where AI and UI integration is critical.
