Senior Go Backend Engineer

Pranjal Aswani is a Senior backend engineer with 7+ years of experience building production systems across payments, observability, data platforms, healthcare, and AI products. They are immediately available and looking for senior backend / platform / infra roles, preferably Go-heavy. Recently, they built Kafka-backed observability pipelines processing 12M+ events/day at JioStar, with bounded worker pools, circuit breakers, load testing, Grafana dashboards, and staged rollout controls. Before that, at Thunes, they worked on cross-border payments systems supporting $10B+ annual transaction volume with 99.99% uptime, including migrating high-throughput Perl transaction pipelines to Go, building REST APIs, async job processors, Prometheus instrumentation, reconciliation flows, and shared Go libraries. Pranjal is strongest in Go backend/platform work, including distributed systems, concurrency, APIs, Kafka, PostgreSQL, reliability, testing, observability, and production ownership.
