Experienced Engineer Seeking Startup Opportunities

I am looking to get back into technology after an 8 year sting into public service and politically elected positions. An engineer by training, I am a very broad generalist, taking interest into various technical fields as well as social sciences - hence my venture into politics. I have managed infrastructure projects for my public sector employers but I also know my way around a git command line and a large codebase written in a dozen languages. I'm especially interested in fast moving startups that can use my broad skill set. I'm ready to get my hands dirty and do whatever odd jobs needs to be done to grow, while my ideal position would be managing a medium sized team of like minded engineers ready to change the world. Available to work through my own company as a business to business contract, handle my own taxes etc. if that helps, for example, a US company.
