Junior Backend Developer

Michal Svec is a motivated final year CS student from Slovakia, seeking full-time junior/graduate level backend development roles starting July 2026. With a passion for programming since age 15, Michal has explored various areas including mobile (native, Flutter), web (React, Next.js, Vue), QA, MLOps, and AI/ML, ultimately choosing to specialize in backend development. His experience includes a backend internship at JetBrains working on remote Kotlin code compilation and an MLOps internship at Dell, gaining exposure to DevOps and cloud technologies. Michal's primary coding experience is in Java and Python, with a strong preference for strongly typed languages like Kotlin, and is currently learning Go by building a VPN. He is eager to learn new languages like Rust or C++.
