Shayon is looking for novel, truly challenging, and meaningful problems, thriving on difficult intellectual challenges. They emphasize independent thinking and possess a strong background including a master's in pure math, pre-LLM AI/ML research, experience scaling early-stage startups, and open-source maintenance. Shayon seeks colleagues with high situational awareness, an understanding of cognitive biases, and an open mind, and prefers autonomy in their work. Most recently, they built data infrastructure for manufacturing at a German startup, and prior to that, spent 3 years building and scaling an open-source security data platform. Shayon is interested in founding/staff engineer roles or any intellectually stimulating position.
