Spent the last few years contracting, looking for fulltime work in order to start a family. 10YoE mostly in startups in the bay area, did a longer stint writing internal tools at an ISP. Recent projects include: designed a ground up system for impactor tracking at 40khz, ui for wind turbine data monitoring, tool for previewing LED control software in the browser, taught my plotter to do full color watercolor, built a local vLLM RAG assistant and a photo -> pixel art fantasy portrait pipeline.
