I'm posting here because I'm worried about the job board dice roll. Life needs to be longer to be a code monkey working for doomed software projects. Someone looking here is likelier to be interested in the craft of building software for fun and profit. For example, yes, copy-pasta-driven programming can be helpful, but it brings baggage that is sure to sink the project, and if we do nothing about it, tech debt will quickly build up and make it feel like we're building elaborate sand castles atop of quicksand. If you agree with me, we'll likely get along!
