Thrives on aligning engineering with business goals and tackling complex distributed systems. Achieved Zero-to-One success by building foundational tech/AI/ML at a FinTech, enabling Series A funding. Held executive and scaling roles such as CTO of a crypto trading desk and Head of Engineering, Product, or AI/ML at high-growth FinTechs. Comfortable as a first/founding engineer, and experienced in building startup technology teams as Head-of-Tech/CTO. Strong interest in pushing the status quo in AI/LLM engineering and research, including areas like SSI. Personal projects involve training Transformers+MoE models for REIT forecasting, developing a 'live weight adjustment' framework for Transformers/MoE, and experimenting with non-chat uses of text/token LLMs with 'perceptors' for environment communication. Compensation expectation: $140k - $170k USD gross yearly.
