Software Engineer with Product Mindset

Hi! I’m Melissa, a software engineer with a product mindset and experience in product management, sales, and UI/UX design. In my most recent full-time position at AlphaMap I contributed in both engineering and product roles to help the company reach product-market fit. As the first non-founding engineer, I worked closely with the founders to build out numerous core features, and while on product I managed the launch of what has become their flagship product. Before that, I built a multi-tenant order management system from scratch, then scaled it into a customized fundraiser management SaaS platform (selljar.com). With strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, I enjoy learning new technologies and taking on new challenges. I am passionate about building high-quality tools to help real people.
